TUITION PAYMENT POLICY
Private, semi-private or year-round classes:
An initial non-refundable tuition payment of four (4) lessons and a registration fee is due at the first scheduled lesson. Each student is invoiced on the first lesson of each month for the number of lessons
scheduled in the coming month. There is NO tuition credit given or make-up lesson available for student absence or cancellation. There are NO trial lessons.
LATE CHARGES
The monthly advance tuition billings are due by the 1st lesson of each month. A LATE CHARGE OF $10.00 IS ADDED WHEN TUITION PAYMENTS ARE NOT RECEIVED BY THE 10TH DAY OF THE MONTH.
ABSENCE POLICY
Student Cancellation:
For any private lesson cancelation, the student or parent may contact the teacher for the next week’s lesson assignment, or at your option, you may have another family member come in and take your regularly scheduled lesson. THERE IS NO TUITION CREDIT GIVEN OR MAKE-UP LESSON AVAILABLE FOR STUDENT ABSENCE OR CANCELLATION.
Teacher Cancellation:
In case of a teacher’s absence, we will provide a well-qualified substitute teacher. If there is no substitute available, the student has the following options:
1. Schedule a lesson with the regular teacher at another time.
2. Receive credit to your account for the lesson missed.
STUDENT VACATION
Two weeks of credit (two lessons) can be given to students for vacation and their lesson time will be held during their absence. ONE WEEK PRIOR WRITTEN NOTIFICATION TO THE INSTRUCTOR IS
REQUIRED FOR VACATION CREDIT.
CONSERVATORY HOLIDAYS
Patrick’s Music School is operated on a year round basis. There are no lessons on the following legal holidays: New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Easter Sunday, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, TBD by the instructor.
REGISTRATION FEE
A one-time $20.00 registration fee is charged for each new student at the music studio. The non-refundable registration fee is due at the first scheduled lesson.
SUPPLIES
Students will purchase their own music as needed on the recommendation of their instructor.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
I, _______________________________________, hereby release and discharge Patrick’s Music School, from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action that may hereafter have for injuries or damages arising out of my participation in music instruction, including but not limited to losses caused by the negligence of the released parties, or other individuals or parties involved in this activity.
DISCONTINUING YOUR LESSONS
Patrick’s Music School must receive a written notice two weeks prior to the final lesson if you decide to
discontinue lessons. Tuition continues to accrue until this notice is received by the instructor or the office personnel.
It is our studio belief and policy that it takes a minimum of 4 to 6 lessons to determine interest in the selected instrument AND confidence in the teachers ability to provide satisfactory instruction. The initial payment of 4 lessons in advance and $20.00 registration fee is non-refundable.
